There are many cities in the United States with little-used freight railroads that could be put to good use reducing highway traffic congestion—ideally with electrified, low-cost transit. Luckily, some cities, like San Diego, have seen this vision and helped it come true! This program completely covers the second line built—the picturesque East Line—as it existed in early 1990. Photographed in sunny weather, this film has many run-bys in addition to a full cab ride. A great taste of traction, southern California style!
